Sometimes, when you’re at home and not in the mood to go out shopping, it's the perfect moment for salmon to come to the rescue. Simply pan-sear both sides of the salmon until crispy, then simmer in a flavourful Japanese teriyaki sauce—it's more than enough to leave you fully satisfied. This pan-seared salmon with garlic teriyaki sauce is straightforward to make, taking just 10 minutes to prepare. It’s truly a quick and easy recipe!



Ingredients

 

Basic Ingredients

Salmon Fillet

2 each

Garlic

5 cloves

Thyme

3 sprigs

Spring Onion

1 sprigs

Salt

1 pinch

Ground Black Pepper

to taste

Teriyaki Sauce

Mirin

100 ml

Soy Sauce

3 tbsp

Dark Vinegar

1 tbsp



Steps

 
1. 中火燒熱鑊,加1湯匙油,放入蒜及百里香爆香,隨即放入三文魚扒,每面煎約1分半鐘即可。
1. Heat the pan over medium heat, add 1 tablespoon of oil, and sauté the garlic and thyme until fragrant. Immediately place the salmon fillets in the pan and sear each side for about 1.5 minutes until golden brown.

2. 沿用同一隻鑊,倒入醬汁料,以中細火煮至濃稠即可。
2. Using the same pan, pour in the sauce ingredients and simmer over medium-low heat until the sauce thickens.


3. 上碟後淋上醬汁,加些少蔥花即成。
3. Once plated, drizzle the sauce over the salmon and sprinkle with a bit of chopped green onions to finish.
